THE NTU ARCHERY CLUB | |||||||||
The
NTU Archery Club was officially set up in 1992 by advent enthusiasts as
a recreation rather than a competitive sport. However just a year later,
an Inter-Varsity-Polytechnic team was formed to meet a growing demand to
this sport and to compete in the inter-varsity-polytechnic national competition
held annually. Since then, the NTU Archery Club has built up a reputation in such tournaments by consistently attaining poll positions in most of the competitions. This includes, among others, the National University of Singapore Indoor/Outdoor Archery Open and the Archery Association of Singapore (Archery Association of Singapore) annual Pesta Sukan national competition. The NTU Archery Team has always been known for their sportsmanship and their competitive spirit. Add a bit of desire to win and to excel, the team has won a number of competitions. The quest to continuously perform at their best has been pass on every year from archer to archer. This mission will hopefully be carried out continuously for many years to come. Do feel free to click on the various years below to see the achievements of the Nanyang Technological University Archery Team. 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 |
